The third time was a charm for the Whippets as they were finally able to capture the North State crown and advance to the first State Championship in program history.

In the State Championship series the team was defeated by defending 4A champ North Pike, but head coach Tony Terry said that doesn’t diminish what the team accomplished this season.

The Whippets finished the record breaking season with a record of 26-9 and a #2 final ranking.
