At 7:15 pm Attala Deputies, MedStat EMS, The Mississippi Highway Patrol along with Attala Fire and Rescue were dispatched Highway 12 east just past Airport Road and the auction house. Emergency personnel arrived on scene to find a white Chevrolet pickup off the side of the roadway with front end damage. Officers found that the cause of the accident was a hog that ran out in front of the pickup. No injures were reported.
