The Mississippi AP Broadcasters Association, an organization made up of all Mississippi radio and TV stations that are members of Associated Press, has appointed a new member to its board of directors.
Boswell Media’s Breck Riley has been chosen to serve on the 2017 Mississippi AP Broadcasters Board of Directors.
As a member of the board, Breck will help plan and present the annual Mississippi Associated Press Broadcasters contest and banquet in the spring of 2017.
“I’m excited and honored to appointed to the board,“ said Riley. “I’m looking forward to working alongside some of the best radio and TV broadcasters in the state.”
Breck has been working for Boswell Media full-time since December of 2014, but his radio career began while he was still in college at Mississippi State University. In the fall of 2009, he served as a board operator and co-host of a Friday night scoreboard show on WLIN-FM Breezy 101.
Breck returned to the radio in the fall of 2013 as color-commentator on Friday nights for Kosciusko Whippet football. He became the full-time host of “Good Morning Kosciusko” in December 2014 and full-time News Director in Jan. 2015.
Additionally, Breck is the play-by-play commentator for Kosciusko Whippet football and basketball broadcast and the host of weekly coaches shows during football and baseball seasons.

Riley is a graduate of Mississippi State University. Boswell Media received multiple honors in this year’s Mississippi Associated Press Awards Contest including Riley’s 1st place for Best in Sound and 2nd place for Best Radio Newscaster.
