The Kosciusko Whippets will take the field tonight for the first time in two weeks.
The Whippets be in for their stiffest test yet in the form of the Holmes County Central Jaguars.
The Jaugars are 3-0 in their first year as a 5A school, and boast a defense that has only given up 26 points this season.
“They are one of the best defensive football teams we’ll see all year,” said Whippet head coach Trac Baughn. “It’s going to be quite a test for us.
The game tonight is being played in Goodman on the campus of Holmes Community College. Kosciusko will still be considered the away team, so fans attending the game should purchase tickets and walk around the track to the visiting bleachers.
