Boswell Media Sports is set for week three of the Helmet-to-Helmet broadcast for the 2016 football season. The third game of an 11-game broadcast schedule that will be featuring high school football teams throughout central Mississippi will be between the Union Yellowjackets and the Noxapater Tigers.
The Noxapater Tigers will host Union on Friday, September 2.
Head coach Casey Orr and the Noxapater Tigers have opened the season with two losses: one to J.Z. George in overtime 12-6 and the second in a 30-10 loss to East Webster. Coach Orr and the Tigers have had to rebuild their entire offensive line returning only four starters on offense from last season.
Union finished the season last year at 8-5 landing them second in the Region 5-2A standings. The Yellowjackets made it to the second round of the playoffs before being knocked out.
Head Coach Brad Breland and the Yellowjackets are sitting 2-0 on the season with wins over Choctaw Central and Nanih Waiya.

Each week’s Helmet-to-Helmet game will be available on Cruisin 98.3 and the Cruisin 98 mobile app. Pre-game will start at 6:30 followed by live action with kickoff coverage starting at 7 pm.
