The Executive Director of the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame will speak to teenagers Thursday during a program at the Attala County Library.
Bill Blackwell will speak with teenagers and others in attendance on the history of sports in Mississippi.
Prior to this time with the MSHOF, Blackwell spent 35 years working in professional baseball. Twelve of those years he served as the general manager for the Jackson Mets and Jackson Generals.
On Monday, July 4, the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame will celebrate its 20th year of operation.
Thursday’s program will begin at 2:00 pm.
