The Kosciusko Board of Aldermen will hold a public hearing tonight to open its meeting.
The hearing is to discuss the proposed changes to streets in downtown Kosciusko.
The highlight of the proposal, which was put together by Randolph Cheek, would see many of the streets downtown changed to one-way. This would include all streets leading to and from the square with the exception of Huntington, Wells, Monroe, and Adams.
Supporters of the proposal feel that the changes will improve parking and traffic flow in the downtown area.
The public hearing was set to allow the public to ask questions and voice any concerns about the proposal.
Tuesday night’s meeting will begin at 5:30 pm at City Hall.
